Overview and acceptance

These Terms govern your pre-order reservation of TYO products on this landing page. By placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Pre-order deposits and payment

At checkout, you will be charged the deposit amount shown; this charge reserves your unit and is not payment in full. When we notify you that your unit’s final “build window” has opened, you will have five (5) calendar days to request a full refund of your deposit; if you request a refund within that period, we will promptly refund the deposit in full. If you accept the final build, the remaining balance (final unit price minus your deposit) will be due per the payment deadline in your notice. We may offer third-party financing for the balance, and those providers’ terms will apply. If you do not respond within the 5-day build window, we may proceed with final assembly and charge the remaining balance. Once final assembly begins, the deposit is non-refundable, except as required by law.

Shipping, delivery windows, and delays

Upon acceptance of your build, we will provide an estimated shipping window. If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you and offer the choice to wait, change the order, or receive a refund in accordance with consumer protection rules.

Refunds, cancellations, and modifications

You may cancel your pre-order and request a full refund during your “build window”, which begins the day we contact you to finalize your build specifications, and for 5 days as stated above. If we materially change the product, you will be offered the choice of accepting the change or receiving a full refund.

Limited availability and allocation

Pre-orders may be extremely limited. We reserve the right to allocate units, limit quantities, and refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including suspected fraud.

Warranty and returns

Your product is covered by our limited warranty as described separately on our warranty page, which will be delivered via email at the time of purchase and additionally posted on TYO’s website. Return and refund eligibility for defects follows the warranty process. Because of the custom nature of the product, there will be no returns. Should you have a unique circumstance and would like to discuss a return, you may do so by emailing operations@tyocorp.com with the subject “Return”.

Intellectual property

All content on the site, product designs, and marks are TYO’s property. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our trademarks without permission.

Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, except where local law requires otherwise. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois, unless you and TYO agree to arbitration.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TYO’s liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product, and we are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes in law, our business, or product fulfillment timelines. We will notify customers by email when changes materially affect existing pre-orders.
